WHAT TO EXPECT
Thank you for considering Hardin Computer. A couple quick things before you come in…
- Please prepare to leave your machine/device.
- Most laptop and desktop repairs are completed within 3-4 business days.
- Some iPhone repairs are not able to be done same day. Please give us a call for more info.
- All iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and Beats repairs will be mailed to Apple’s repair depot. They usually return within 5-7 business days.
Please make sure all of your information is backed up before coming in, we do have extra charges for data backup/recovery. (No data backup/recovery for iOS devices)
There is a $99 Diagnostic fee that applies to non-warranty declined repairs. (does not apply to iOS devices)

Diagnostic
Once a technician has diagnosed your machine, they will give you a call with a quote. You can accept or decline the quote at that time. If you decline- a diagnostic fee of $99 will apply. If you accept the repair, the diagnostic fee is waived & you will pay for the parts and labor.

iPad Service Fees
All iPad repairs are sent to Apple’s repair depot and take about 5-7 days to complete.

How to turn off Find My iPhone/iPad
- Go to Settings
- Click on your name
- Select iCloud
- Turn off Find My [device]
- Enter your Apple ID password
- Tap Turn Off
How to backup your iPhone/iPad
Backup to iCloud
- Connect your device to Wi-Fi
- Go to Settings
- Click on your name
- Select iCloud
- Tap iCloud Backup
- Select Back Up Now
Backup to iTunes
- Make sure your iTunes is updates to the latest version
- Connect your device to your machine through your USB Cable
- If iTunes does not open automatically, open iTunes
- Select your device
- Select Backup to This Computer
- Tap Back Up Now
How to backup your computer with Time Machine
- Plug in external HD formatted for a mac.
- Click on the Time Machine icon on your menu bar
- Click Back Up Now If you see your device
- If you do not see your device click Time Machine Preferences
- From here select your external hard drive to add
- Click Back Up Now
